Luka and Height of 170 cm and weighs 30 kg.
Its surname is formed by the words Meguri (巡, circular or around) and Ne (音, sound), while the name Luka invokes the Japanese words Nagare (流, flow) and Ka (歌, song or 香, perfume), giving them a name with the meaning “A song that spreads all over the world like a perfume”. Some call it “Ruka”, although it is incorrect.
Even in the transliterated version the confirmation as Luka, and since there is no dubbed version, remains its official name.
The Popularity Of Luka Megurine
Megurine Luka (巡 音 ル カ) was the third Japanese Vocaloid released by Crypton on January 30, 2009.
Yu Asakawa (浅川 悠) provided the voice for Luka for his somewhat “mysterious” style. Luka was the first Vocaloid to have the same popularity impact as Miku Hatsune.
Just days after her release, many songs were produced with her. On the 70 Weekly Vocaloid Ranking (February 2, 2009) many songs appeared in the top 30, beating Miku
